Background
I have been practicing psychology in South Austin since 2006. I obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology from Cornell University in 2000 and then completed both my master's degree and doctorate in clinical psychology at Baylor University. I have experience with individual therapy, couples counseling, group therapy, psychological assessment, including ADHD and learning disabilities, as well as career assessment/counseling. You can see more specific details of my past experience here. You can also follow me on Facebook.
Because of my passion for working with couples and relationships, I have completed Level 1 Gottman Training as being a Certified Gottman Educator in the Bringing Baby Home program. I completed the Advanced Externship training in EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) with Dr. Sue Johnson as well as EFT core skills training . I am a founding member, as well as past President of the Austin Center for EFT.
Currently I am in network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield as well as Aetna. I am also happy to provide a superbill for anyone who would like to use out of network benefits.
